After the joys of the three-day Festival meeting at Cheltenham, it's back to bread-and-butter fare, and a taste of what is just around the corner, tomorrow.

The Flat Turf season starts in a week's time and Lingfield's all-weather Flat meeting tomorrow offers jockeys, trainers and, of course, horses, the chance to limber up in advance of the 'proper' campaign.

Sheriff Hutton rider Kevin Darley, who has returned to race-riding only recently after resting over the winter, can figure on the scoreboard at the Surrey course.

Darley teams up with Settlement Craic in the New Site At betdirect.co.uk Maiden Stakes and has good prospects of victory.

Trained by Terry Mills, Settlement Craic showed definite signs of ability when finishing second on his only juvenile outing. It would be no surprise to see him go one better here.

Darryll Holland, who, along with ex-champion Darley, arguably poses the biggest threat to defending turf champion Kieren Fallon this season, has been in cracking form on the all-weather.

Holland can maintain his winning run courtesy of Anyhow, a course winner two weeks ago, who tackles the Bet Direct Fillies' Handicap for trainer Karen George.

British racegoers will be seeing a lot more of Johnny Murtagh this season owing to the Irish jockey's newly-established links with Newmarket trainers David Loder and James Fanshawe. And he can give a reminder of his talents by landing the Bet Direct Maiden Stakes on Finders Keepers, trained by Ed Dunlop.

Mark Johnston will have by far the biggest and best string in the North again this season. The all-conquering Middleham handler, who has at least three live Classic hopes under his care, has good prospects with The Bonus King, the mount of Keith Dalgleish, in the Bet Direct Sky Active Classified Stakes.

Millville is another to note at Lingfield. The Michael Jarvis-trained four-year-old has won two of his four starts and the way he pounced late to nail the favourite Hip Hop Harry here three weeks ago suggests there is more to come.

Neil Callan can steer Millville, tomorrow's nap selection, to another victory in the featured £20,000 betdirect.co.uk Handicap.

At Fakenham, Malton jockey David O'Meara is taken to capture the totepool Handicap Hurdle on the in-form All Bleevable.

Winner of his last two starts, at Doncaster and on this course, All Bleevable has looked a different horse since returning from a seventh-month break. A hat-trick is on the cards.
