HUNDRED Reasons have perfected the great rock chorus. Coming on leaps and bounds from their exhilarating debut, Ideas Above Our Station, Shatterproof... gives the UK rock scene a much-needed kick up the backside.
Its 12 songs - and you will struggle to find a duff one - are more anthemic and accessible without changing their very British brand of ear-wrecking riff-rock.
In fact they may still prove a notch too loud and spiky to create holes in the pockets of mainstream rock buyers, but you never know. Fuzzy-haired energy ball Colin Doran sounds better than ever and really lets loose on heavyweight singles, What You Get and The Great Test. Harmony will surely become a firm live favourite with its rousing hook line, "sing this with me now" repeated over and over, while the blistering Pop is as commercial as the band get. Believe.
