TOMORROW National Railway Museum bosses will set their eyes on the prize. They are off to see the Flying Scotsman.
No doubt bosses will imagine how fine the world's most famous locomotive would look in the world's greatest railway museum.
That outcome is by no means certain. But the appeal to bring the engine to York has massive and building support from across the country.
It is the right place, the only place, for this remarkable piece of our transport heritage to reside.
