I DO not object to cyclists in general. Cycling is good for the environment and for health. I also realise that a minority always spoil it for the majority. I prefer to walk to work and back.
Nearly every day I witness cyclists riding on the pavement missing people by inches, cyclists going through red lights at the pelican crossings when pedestrians are crossing, and cyclists weaving in and out of traffic and being nearly knocked off their bikes because of their own stupidity.
Are people not taught the Highway Code any more? Or do cyclists think that it does not apply to them and they can do whatever they like?
More has to be done to stop cyclists riding on pavements and cycling through red lights, before a pedestrian is knocked down and injured.
