FRESH details have been revealed about a robber police are hunting following a street attack in York.
In later editions of Saturday's Evening Press on Saturday we reported how a teenager was punched in the face twice and thrown to the ground in a brutal attack.
The 17-year-old suffered facial injuries and his mobile phone was snatched in the attack on Carnot Street, off Leeman Road.
Now police have interviewed the victim further and say the attacker is aged about 24, 5ft 10ins tall, powerfully-built and clean shaven. He had short hair and bitten fingernails and was wearing a blue fleece, dark baseball cap and white trainers. Police said the man spoke with a "gruff, local accent".
The attacker was seen shortly before Saturday's 12.20am attack sat on a wall with another man on the corner of Balfour Street.
