A TRIO of financial workers from York will swap their business suits and ties for running shorts and trainers when they run 26 miles for charity.
The men, who work for London York Fund Managers Ltd, in Foss Islands Road, York, will join thousands of runners in the gruelling London Marathon next month.
Brett Duncan, Martin Fairburn and Russell Hirst will be running in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, which provides specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals for youngsters suffering from forms of cancer, including leukaemia, Hodgkin's disease, and related illnesses.
Anyone who would like to support the runners should send donations to Russell Hirst, London York, Foss Islands House, Foss Islands Road, York, YO31 7UJ.
Cheques should be made payable to the charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.
