York Acorn ARL Club Under-16s got back to winning ways with a 32-4 victory at high-riding Keighley Cougars.
The hosts scored first but Acorn fought back to lead 14-4 and took full advantage of the slope after half-time, with Chris Coor impressing in the forwards while Timmy Elliot, Adam Sellers and Lee Acaster starred in the backs.
Tries came from Adam Winterburn, Karl Harton, Daryll North, Corr, Elliot and Acaster, who added four goals.
York Acorn U12s gave a lacklustre display in losing 32-4 at Dewsbury Moor.
Unforced errors saw them trailing 22-0 at the break and, although they improvement slightly in the second half, with Jordan Hyde man of the match and Stuart Leeke most improved, Dewsbury stayed in command.
Acorn's only try saw the ball was passed the full width of the pitch for George Holroyd to score his first try for the club.
Sam Orange scored four tries as a superb display saw York Acorn U11s avenge an earlier defeat with a 26-0 win over Knottingley.
Kyle Brown also crossed after good handling down the left, while goals came from Callum Hannigan, Orange and Gareth Smith.
Carl Loft was man of the match, while Eddie Smith and Ryan Hamilton led the defensive effort in which substitutes Sam Birch and new-boy Grant Penrose also impressed.
New Earswick scupper Pirates
New Earswick All Black's Under-14s secured a fine 44-16 win against Scarborough Pirates.
All Blacks got off to a flying start with tries from Pat Smith, Ted Young and Brian Wright before Pirates closed the gap before half time.
The second period saw All Blacks pull away with Wright scoring another four tries, Smith and Young also crossed again. Conversions came from Young (3) and Mike Horton. Sam Waite and Alex Redhead both had strong games.
New Earswick Under 16s paid for a poor start and too many basic errors as they lost 16-10 to West Hull.
Hull were 10-0 up after ten minutes before good work from Liam Gargan put Ross Divorty through, Thomas Mackley goaling.
Hull crossed again after the break and New Earswick's only real movement came with ten minutes left when Divorty put man of the match Dean Smith over in the corner.
