FORWARD Andy Bell will start tonight's North Riding Senior Cup semi-final at Scarborough (7.45pm) after sparkling as a second half substitute in City's 3-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe United last night.
He came off the bench and pulled back a consolation effort. Teenage strike partner Lev Yalcin, who also came off the bench last night, is also likely to feature against Boro.
Goalkeeper Chris Porter will start for City, as will midfielder Stephen Downes.
Scarborough, who have yet to win a match since the fourth round FA Cup game against Chelsea, are still suffering a minor squad crisis with all 16 available players being named to face Morecambe in the Nationwide Conference on Saturday.
Star midfielder Scott Kerr will definitely miss out as he serves out a two match ban. His absence could give Scarborough boss Russell Slade the ideal opportunity to blood some trialists at the McCain Stadium including Patrick Collins from Sunderland and Ross McKay from Blackburn.
Scarborough from: Walker, Baker, Hotte, Rose, Downey, Robinson, Davidson, Sherlock, Kelly, Marcelle, Quayle, Senior, Collins, McKay.
York City: Porter, Law, Anderson, Staley, Baynes, Downes, Coad, Ashcroft, Stuart, Bell, Yalcin. Subs: Stockdale, Arthur, Webster, Green, Hall.
