FOR the first time in history two RJF Homes Beckett League will meet in the Scarborough and District FA Junior Cup final.
Kirkdale United, current leaders of Beckett League division one, beat Lealhome 2-1 in the Scarborough competition semi-finals, while Kirkbymoorside Reserves beat Forge Hotel, from Scarborough and District League division two, 4-3 in extra time.
Kirkdale's scorers were Johnny Marwood, with a sixth minute header, and Ian Prendergast hitting the winner midway through the second half.
Bobby Brewer scored Kirkbymoorside's winner five minutes from the end of extra time, his second goal of the match. Rob McDermid, Andrew Piercy (penalty) were Kirkbymoorside's other scorers.
