Wet Lips, who won last Sunday at Musselburgh, turns up at the other end of Britain tomorrow as he bids to complete a quick double.
Trained in County Durham by Richard Guest, the New Zealand-bred gelding heads to Kempton to contest the Betfair Handicap Hurdle. Henry Oliver again has the mount.
Oliver rode an enterprising race on Wet Lips at Musselburgh to get the better of top-weight Altay, the odds-on favourite. Poaching a big lead early on, he gave his mount a breather turning for home, leaving with enough in reserve to get the better of Altay from the final flight.
An improving sort, Wet Lips has a 7lb penalty to carry tomorrow, but the in-form northern raider is expected to take plenty of beating.
Nonantais, who had the option of a tempting target at Doncaster today, turns out instead at Kempton, and this promising performer should make a lively assault on the Betfair Noivices' Chase.
A useful hurdler last season, Nonantais made his debut over fences on his belated reappearance last month and finished a highly-creditable second to the well-regarded Hawk's Landing.
Mark Bradstock's charge will doubtless improve as a result of that outing and will be hard to beat.
Trainer Philip Hobbs, whose raiding party at the forthcoming Cheltenham Festival will be spearheaded by Rooster Booster - bidding to defend his crown in the Champion Hurdle - has his horses in good heart. He can lift the Betfair Novices' Hurdle with Fool On The Hill and the Betfair Winners Welcome Novices' Hurdle with the consistent Limerick Leader.
At Market Rasen, Only One Matty bids for his third win from his last four outings in the Sharp Minds Prosper With Betfair Handicap Hurdle.
Trained at Middleham by Kate Walton, the seven-year-old is in the form of his life at present and young rider Ashley Dempsey has struck up a good rapport with him.
The £10,000 Betfair Winners Are Welcome Handicap Chase forms the feature race at the Lincolnshire course and if Venn Ottery turns out again after his facile success at Newbury yesterday - his third win in a row - then Paul Nicholls' fast-improver will be hard to oppose.
If Venn Ottery remains at home, Mick Easterby's evergreen veteran Minster Glory could take advantage on a course where he has scored in the past.
Tim Easterby and Russ Garritty were on the mark at Doncaster yesterday with Minivet. Tomorrow, the Ryedale pair can hit the target with Silver Knight, who carries the nap in the Betfair Novices' Chase, as he aims to gain his third success of the campaign.
Tomorrow's tips:
