AN exhibition of photographs depicting the classic art deco style of York's Odeon Cinema is being held at Brown's department store in York Artist Simon Warner, pictured, has put on the display in support of our campaign to save the Blossom Street picture house.
He is an established landscape and theatre photographer, working for national countryside organisations and regional theatres and his personal work deals with changes in the contemporary post-industrial landscape.
The city centre store's exhibition will run for at least week.
The cinema was designed by Harry Weedon and was built in 1937.
