As the voice of Clannad, Moya Brennan is one of Ireland's most respected singers.
Her music has graced international film soundtracks, spiritual recordings, several television series and even dance anthems. Her new release, Two Horizons, was inspired by a dawn visit to the ancient site of Tara, where, according to legend, the High Kings of Ireland met in pursuit of reconciliation and sublime art.
Her producer, Ross Cullum, whose credits include Tears For Fears and Moya's sister Enya, has found new ways to frame Moya's voice - giving her distinctive sound a modern, rhythmical feel. He also allows the sound of the harp to shine alongside her dulcet tones. However, the production on some of the tracks is so lush that they verge on Celtic Muzak.
