I READ with interest the Yesterday Once More article on the waterways (February 27).
I was particularly interested in the Reklaw, which people who remember it will know was Walker spelt backwards, Walkers the builders merchants being its owner.
I think after Walkers finished with it it was converted and used for a while for trips for disabled people, but I am sure that it was cut up into sections near Castle Mills bridge and taken away.
