A MAJOR exhibition exploring the life of Jesus has gone on display at York Minster during Lent.
Step Into The Picture - The Life Of Jesus Through The Eyes Of The Artist - is made up of 24 pieces from artist Paul Forsey.
The pieces are being used for a book commissioned by the Diocese of Oxford which will be published in autumn 2004.
Acting Dean of York, Canon Glyn Webster, said: "I hope that Paul's work can be used as a focus for contemplation and reflection. His vivid images take us to the heart of Jesus' life on earth, and provide an opportunity for people to think what his life, death and resurrection means to them." The exhibition will also take place at Sheffield Catholic Cathedral, Lincoln Cathedral, and the Cathedral of Bath and Wells.
