BEN Johnston scored a hat-trick as Copmanthorpe beat Thorpe United 5-4 in a Mitchell League Cup thriller. Other Cop goals came from Robert Taylor and Josh Ferguson while Daniel Montgomery (2), Corey Fox and Thomas Littlewood replied.
Tadcaster Albion also progressed with Joe Breedon and Robert Ward giving them a 2-1 win against Pickering Town, whose Shaun Magson scored.
Poppleton moved into third in division one after winning 2-0 at Hamilton Panthers 'A' where Joe Dale and an own goal secured the points.
Marco Shepherd's hat-trick defeated Selby Olympia 'A', while goals from Jordan McNeish and George Elliott saw Easingwold beat Brooklyn 2-1. Thomas Audsley netted Brooklyn's consolation.
Rawcliffe moved in to second in division two after winning 3-2 at Real Cliffe, where Tom Jackson, Adam Scorefield and Edward Clapham were on target. Thomas Ellwood and Michael Brown netted for Cliffe.
Wigginton Grasshoppers' Liam Morrison (2), Williams Plews, Sean Wilson and Adam Richardson sank Barlby Raiders 5-0.
Heworth lost 3-2 at home to Dunnington courtesy of Matthew Playle, Guy Mandzuik and an own goal. Tom Genever and Declan Malarkey replied.
Haxby Town edged out Selby Olympia 'B' 6-5 in a division three thriller. On target for Haxby were Michael Brown (2), Adam Myersough (2), James Lawrence and Graham Shipley.
That was tough on Gary Chapman who scored four for Olympia, the other goal came from Ashley Spence.
Elvington Harriers consolidated top spot with Lewis Clydesdale (2) and Alex Brent giving them a 3-1 win over Hamilton Panthers for whom Tom Johnson netted.
South Milford and Wheldrake drew 3-3 with Dan Whittaker netting a treble for Wheldrake. Nick Spence, James Lewis and Stephen Wragg responding.
