Selby Warriors gave an awful first half performance at Wetherby but still led at the break and went on to a 40-14 Pennine League division five victory.
After last week's cup win over Morley, it was always going to be hard for Selby to get up for this game and so it proved, but they still managed a comfortable win as winger Colin Barker scored four tries.
The Warriors led 16-10 at the interval thanks to two tries from Barker and one for centre Andy Rowe.
In between, the home team scored a couple of tries and it looked like they would make a game of it, but the second half was a different story.
The forwards, led by prop Sean Barker, started to dominate Wetherby's big pack and a flowing move resulted in Colin Barker diving over in the corner to complete his hat-trick.
Captain Carl Bardauskas then scored from acting-half back for his 20th touchdown of the season.
Wetherby touched down before Selby moved back up field for veteran forward Bob Hardy, returning after injury, to score. Colin Barker scored his fourth try, and Wayne Fennell added his fourth goal.
