Pennine League division five leaders York Acorn 'A' moved a step closer to the title with a hard-earned 22-10 win at Bailiff Bridge Terriers.
Acorn weren't anywhere near their best in the first half and trailed 6-4 at the interval, but after the break they played their way into some form.
Top performers were improving teenage winger Matthew Embleton and experienced forward Gary Taylor. Their efforts turned the tie to earn the joint man of the match award.
Acorn's points came from tries by Benn, Embleton, Fox and Ricky Morrow to go with three Ben Hodgson goals.
