Lisa Jones, Britain's most sought-after female jockey, heads to Southwell tomorrow with excellent prospects of repeating her recent achievement of completing a course double.

The common denominator is Broughton Knows, who formed the second leg of her brace nine days ago, and who turns out again in the betdirect.co.uk Stakes.

Trained by Willie Musson, Jones' boss, Broughton Knows has won all his three races this season and is currently laying down a challenge to the handicapper to keep up with him.

Although his pickings are only modest affairs, Broughton Knows continues to progress and, Jones, who knows him so well, is fancied to steer the seven-year-old to yet another success tomorrow.

Born in South Africa, Newmarket-based Jones has set her sights on riding out her 3lb claim this year and joining the fully-fledged ranks.

She has 30 winners still to ride for that to happen, but Daunted should further help her on her way by landing the Daily Offers @ betdirect.co.uk Selling Stakes.

Trained by the in-form Paul Blockley, the eight-year-old was a winner over this course-and-distance two weeks ago.

Middleham trainer John Weymes also has good prospects of a double. He saddles Gracious Air in the Betdirect New Site Stakes, and this recent course winner is napped to take plenty of catching with apprentice Duran Fentiman again in the saddle.

Weymes bought Gracious Air cheaply at Newmarket Sales last backend, after her original owner had wanted to part with her, and his decision to retain her promises to pay further dividends.

Weymes and Fentiman can also score with Danakim, who I think can beat his rivals in the five-furlongs New Site @ betdirect.co.uk Stakes. The seven-year-old was a winner over this course and distance two outings ago.

Prospects for jumps racing taking place at Sedgefield tomorrow appeared good this morning.

Clerk of the course David McAllister said: "We've got a light covering of snow, but we didn't have a significant frost last night and that is not a problem. There are no plans to inspect at the moment."

Stillington trainer Henry Hogarth will he hoping the meeting goes ahead as planned.

Hogarth saddles Red Rampage in the Norton & Stockton Ancients Silver Plate Handicap Chase, and David O'Meara's mount should make a bold bid.

Runner-up on his last two starts finished three lengths behind the favourite All Sonsilver on his latest outing at Newcastle.

Overdue a winning turn, Red Rampage can get on top in this gruelling three miles and three furlongs stamina test.

Only Words, trained at Brawby, near Malton, by Alan Lockwood, gets the vote in the Harry Lane Memorial Handicap Hurdle after his sterling effort to finish third to Al Mabrook on this course two weeks ago.
