YORK City player-manager Chris Brass is facing a four-match ban for his red card after tripping Boston's Mark Greaves on Saturday.
It is will be his second suspension this season after being ordererd off at Carlisle in the opening game of the season.
His ban starts with the home game against Torquay United on Saturday, March 13, followed by Yeovil (h), Bristol Rovers (a) and Macclesfield (h)
He said: "The frustrating thing for me is at the start of the season I got sent off and I was confounded by that. This one I put my hand on my heart and I know when I'm going to actually go at someone - it's a horrible side of professionalism in football but I know when I'm going to do someone - and I certainly didn't there.
"I would have accepted the yellow because it was a mistimed tackle and you can say it was harsh but I will have to have a look at the video and it may look worse than what it actually was."
