Selby Town could have handed Ossett Albion the Northern Counties East League premier division title after losing last night's crucial league game at Ossett 3-2.
The Robins went down to a disputed 79th minute penalty, missing out on a chance to reclaim the top spot and put daylight between them and third-placed Ossett.
But Selby Town boss Bob Lyon believes that it's not all over yet.
He said: "I thought we deserved a point out of it. We didn't play too well, but it was a dubious penalty decision with ten minutes to go that settled it.
"There's a long way to go yet and there are still 39 points to play for. What we have got do is to start getting the rub of the green and get another run going."
Dominic Moyles fired Selby into the lead after 13 minutes, but Danny Toronczak and Nicky Clee struck either side of half time to put Albion in front.
Stephen Ward equalised for Selby after 63 minutes, but Toronczak hammered in the deciding blow with 11 minutes left.
The gap between Selby and Ossett is now down to a single point, with Ossett having a game in hand. Brigg Town remain top by two points, although Selby have an extra game to play.
