LEE Jackson should be back to lead the York City Knights against Dewsbury Rams on Sunday after recovering from a trapped nerve injury that saw him leave the pitch with his arm in a sling.
The influential skipper is expected to be fighting fit despite still experiencing some tingling in his fingers with other players looking more doubtful.
Rob Kama will still be out with his rib problem, while half-back Scott Rhodes, who missed out against Gateshead with a slight back injury, has made great strides after completing a non-contact training session.
But head coach Richard Agar said it was still too early to say if he would be fit enough to take on his old club Dewsbury on Sunday.
Another former Ram, Alex Godfrey, will be in the squad after shaking off the cramp problem that forced him to limp off in the second half at Gateshead Thunder.
But Aussie utility back Aaron Wood could miss out with a dead leg.
The 25-year-old was another second-half casualty at Gateshead.
