So Terry Dolan has won £1,300 compensation from a loophole in his contract to pay him for win and draw bonuses York City players earned while Mr Dolan remained at home tending his garden (February 12).
Has he not thought that the number of wins and draws York City have achieved would have been far less with him at the helm?
Young and old have dug deep to help save York City. Unfortunately, Mr Dolan's actions do him no credit and I hope the footballing world take note of his greediness and ensure he is never again allowed to be involved in professional football.
Steve Beck and the other fine directors who have saved York City and Bootham Crescent ought to ban Dolan from ever setting foot in Bootham Crescent again.
