MINSTER Alarms, the York-based installers of intruder alarms has set the golden gongs ringing.
The firm, in New Lane, Huntington, has received a National Approval Council of Security Systems (NACOSS) gold medal.
Tom Mullarkey, chief executive of NACOSS awarded the medal to Kevin Downes, Minster Alarms partner, in recognition of the firm's commitment to the highest of standards.
The medal, which was recommended by the National Security Inspectorate, was especially produced by the Royal Mint. It is the industry's top award given only to those firms which qualify with an ISO 9000 European standard for excellence in the supply and fitting of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
Mr Downes, whose Minster Alarms has been installing Intruder alarms since 1981 and has been NACOSS approved since 1984, said: "We are committed to providing both new and existing customers the best service and in recognition of this, we are proud to have received the NACOSS Gold medal."
