SADLY in this day and age of complicated contractual clauses, York City did not include an international call-up payment as part of their agreement to sell Graeme Murty to Reading.
Saltburn-born Murty has been named in Scotland's squad to face Wales next week by virtue of his parents' nationality.
And although City will not profit from any appearance he makes in the game, Minstermen supporters will, no doubt, join the Evening Press in wishing their talented former midfielder the best of luck.
