Severus SC increased the gap at the top of division one of the York John Smith's Sunday League to five points with a hard earned 1-0 win over Acomb WMC courtesy of the boot of Woodward.

Acomb Celtic and Beeswing shared six goals at Long Marston. Turbine, Cook and Burton scored for Beeswing with Abel (2) and Benton netting for Celtic. Acomb should have had all three points but Benton missed a penalty five minutes from time.
Britannia now lead division five by nine points after a 3-0 win over Poppleton WMC only confirmed with two late goals. Nicholls, Sebine and Hall were the marksmen.
Oxtoby and Morris got the goals as Gipsy Moth won 2-1 at Kingsway Riders whose goal came from Adrian Dear.
Skelton are only two wins away from promotion from division six after a single strike from new signing Ben Coates just six minutes from time gave them victory over second-placed Poppleton Lord Nelson.
