LATELY there has been much discussion about university fees and education, but why all the fuss?
If one can read and write, and is blessed with a modicum of common sense (the latter lacking in many supposed intellectuals) that is almost all you need. Life experience, and determination to succeed, will get you through.
Many "greats" of both sexes have proved this throughout history.
You only have to study the confusing and conflicting religions human beings have created - in some instances, alienating themselves unnecessarily from their fellow men. Surely real education throughout the years would have resulted in some form of sensible, acceptable compromise on the basis of decency, and good versus evil.
Will greed always be the stumbling block - and lack of common sense?
