YORK youngsters had fun with folding at an origami workshop.
Children at Tang Hall School spent the afternoon exploring the Japanese art of paper folding as part of a maths and arts workshop.
The workshop was part of a series of week-long events which replaced normal lessons at the school.
The workshop, for children in Year Five, was run by art teacher Jenny Mathews.
Teacher Martin Lumb, who organised the week, said: "The origami was complicated, but the kids loved it.
"There was not a single sound in the classroom, as they were concentrating so much."
