TWELVE employees at Pocklington-based Sundora Foods have proved their leadership qualities after successfully completing a programme of training.
Each gained an Introductory Certificate In Team Leading, accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
They are the latest in a long line of employees to pass the training at Sundora Foods, which produces a range of dried fruit snacks and home baking products under the Sundora name, as well as own label products for supermarkets
The ILM course covers every aspect of becoming a team leader, from managing colleagues to improve their efficiency, through to managing projects to ensure tasks are completed on time.
The group comprises engineering supervisors Jason Walker and Peter Barrow; hygiene co-ordinators Tony Sellars and Robert Daley; senior warehouse operative Adrian Oliver; quality assurance supervisor Sonia Benge; and production operatives Paul Woodhouse, Jane Wilson, Michelle McCue, Christopher Cox, Susan Kirby and Peter Barclay.
Brian Young, chief executive of Sundora Foods, presented the employees with their certificates.
