Aislaby United moved up to third place in division one of the RJF Homes Beckett Football League after a solid 2-0 win at Sinnington.
The visitors lost Pete McGrath (knee injury) and Mark Harland (eye injury) in the first half, but still managed to win.
Kenny Temple cut in from a Martin Carter pass to score from a tight angle on 65 minutes.
Simon King scored at the second attempt after his initial shot was saved by Sinners 'keeper David Waind.
Black Swan Pickering put seven goals past Thornton-le-Dale to keep their hopes of a top four finish alive.
Thornton Dale's young 'keeper Anthony Garbutt made a couple of outstanding saves but was unable to prevent the visitors racing into a 5-0 half-time lead with goals from Steve Sailes, Paul Mann, Simon Dale and an Adrian Voicu brace - one from the penalty spot.
John Peel added a sixth before Dale struck again to make it seven.
Division two leaders Heslerton Reserves drew 0-0 at home to second-placed Union Rovers.
Carlton United avenged Gillamoor's 6-1 away win earlier in the season with a 6-2 romp.
Hosts Gillamoor struck first through Gary Stamper and Carlton levelled in the second half thanks to a clinical finish by Ali Wildash. Jonathan Pearson fired Carlton ahead before James Cook pegged them back for Gillamoor.
But a triple substitution in the last ten minutes swung the balance in Carlton's favour as subs Graham Barker and Andrew Paton tapped in the fourth and fifth goals, with Dan Varley netting the sixth. A Darren Beattie own goal accounted for the third.
Ryedale Sports Club Reserves moved up the table to fifth place after a 2-1 win at fourth-placed Slingsby.
Darren Collier put Slingsby in front before man-of-the-match Ian Horner levelled for Ryedale and Andrew Best scored the winner ten minutes from time.
Also in division two, Coxwold coontinued a series of away wins with a 3-2 defeat of Bagby and Balk.
The draw for the RJF Homes Beckett League Division 2 League Cup is: First round: Slingsby v Ampleforth. Second round: Ryedale SC Res v Heslerton Res, Union Rovers v Slingsby or Ampleforth, Carlton Utd v Gillamoor, Bagby & Balk v Coxwold.
