Nestl Rowntree had the last word against Thirsk 'A' to record a close 28-21 win.
'Trees made the most of the wind as they rattled up 18 points with a try from winger Sean Harvey and a converted try and two penalties from fly-half John Atkin.
Converted tries by Bill Peagram and fly half Simon Buller either side of hal- time put Thirsk back in the hunt before Nestl flanker Dom O'Sullivan drove over from a line out.
Thirsk flanker Roy Jenkins went over with another converted try but O'Sullivan hit back with his second try following a great break by hooker Rob Lee.
