REVIVED Selby accounted for a strengthened Cleckheaton 2nd XV 27-18 in a re-arranged club game.
The hosts took a second-minute lead with a penalty by Toby Pemberton after Cleckheaton were caught offside.
Direct running by winger Martin Protheroe and No 8 Jamie Pocklington brought a line out try for Selby four minutes later, prop Mark Tomlinson awarded the touch down. Pemberton missed the extras.
Soon after Cleckheaton countered with an unconverted try followed by a penalty from Quinn.
A double substitution early in the second half for Selby saw Andy Gabel replace Shaun Austerfield and Jason Cicero take over from Mark Toye, but it was Cleckheaton who took the lead with a 47th-minute try under the posts by Riley. Quinn this time added the extras.
The visitors extended their lead with another Quinn penalty, but that stung Selby into action.
On the hour their pack pushed over from five metres, Pemberton scoring and converting his own try.
With Mark Toye coming back on for second row Kevin Lowery, Selby began to dominate and they went back into the lead in the 75th minute after a rolling maul took skipper Duncan Phillips over for a try, goaled by Pemberton.
Victory was sealed in the first minute of added-on-time when Jamie Pocklington crashed over in the corner from the maul.
