THE whole of the RJF Homes-Beckett Football League Cup and League programme was postponed last Saturday owing to snow-covered or flooded pitches.
In the first division Kirkbymoorside Reserves are facing a serious backlog of fixtures with 11 games outstanding and they are still in four cup competitions, while the second division has Union Rovers with seven games still to fit in as they bid to regain their first division status.
The League Management Committee have now received permission from the North Riding County FA to run a new knockout cup competition for all second division teams, this will be drawn shortly.
The league are also looking to add extra teams for next season. Anyone interested should contact league secretary Keith Sales tel 01751 473348.
