Harrogate Town have been named as the UniBond League premier division club of the month after an impressive 100 per cent record.

The Wetherby Road outfit took the maximum six points from their two league outings with two cup wins making it a tremendous four out of four for the month.

Harrogate beat Alfreton Town 2-0 in the first round of the Presidents Cup with Bridlington Town also being forced out of the competition after a 3-0 victory last week.

And in the league, the 3-2 win over Vauxhall Motors and the 1-5 thrashing of Spennymoor United the week before took their league form to four consecutive wins and seven games without defeat, putting them at the top of the form table.

If their form continues, they could be in line for the championship and with it, a place in Conference One next season.

Bishop Auckland won the division one award.

Northern Counties East League premier division Goole AFC are hoping to book a place in the next round of the West Riding Senior Cup with a third round win at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds tonight against UniBond division one strugglers Ossett Town.

Meanwhile, Selby Town are at Garforth, who are a division below in the NCEL division one. Both ties kick off at 7.45pm.
