I SHOULD like to thank Lesley Ann Eden, school principal of the York School of Dance and Drama, for the production of Alice In Wonderland which was staged at York's Grand Opera House. What a colourful, energetic, fantastic show.
Lesley and her dancers lifted the audience with their enthusiasm and energy. The costumes had to be seen to be believed - so colourful and very cleverly done. An enormous amount of work had obviously gone in to this production by all who took part.
The "Bolearo" rope work, a new form of movement initiated and performed by Lesley, was breathtaking and exciting.
I thank everyone taking part in this show for giving us an afternoon we will remember for a long time. We can't wait for the next one.
