I AM totally against putting fluoride in drinking water (November 14). The best way to improve children's teeth is for misguided parents, mostly mothers, to stop giving them so many sweets and sugary drinks. Every day we see toddlers whose teeth can't have all yet come through with a bottle of sugary drink in their little hands.
Are they given it to keep them quiet? If a child is thirsty what is wrong with plain water?
Nothing if it is plain water, but if fluoride is added it won't be plain any more, it will be poisoned water.
There is no doubt about it, fluoride is a poison. I drink a lot of water because it quenches my thirst better than anything else.
But I have no wish to be poisoned, so please don't mess with it.
