YORK City will be looking for a new date for their trip to Southend United.
Chris Brass' men were due to make the long trip to Essex on January 3 but the Shrimpers will now play host to North Yorkshire neighbours Scarborough instead in the third round of the FA Cup.
Southend beat Lincoln City 3-0 to book a Roots Hall meeting with Boro, who knocked out Port Vale with a 1-0 away win.
A new date for the game is yet to be decided and the Minstermen could now choose to re-arrange one of their two remaining midweek fixtures for the free weekend.
They are Oxford away on Wednesday, March 3 and Bury at home on Tuesday, April 13.
