I WRITE in response to the latest attack on a First bus driver (December 2). I hope everyone will join me in condemning the attacker and wishing the driver well.
However, there is something more people can do.
If you have a son around ten years old do you know where he was on Monday at the time the bus was attacked?
Did you see a boy in the area, or around Fishponds Wood, about that time? If so please contact the police, either directly, via Crimestoppers or by contacting either Coun David Horton or myself, the ward councillors.
This time it is really serious. Not only the consequences for the driver, but also for the many residents in the area who do not own cars and for whom the No 1 bus is their only means of getting around.
