Paul Dixon gamed in 20 then went on to pair with Daz Gray to secure the victory. Mark Fratson added an 18-darter, while best for Bay was Ally Wray with 21. Three ton-plus scores from Paul Cooper salvaged the aggregate point for Bay.
A 142 finish from Shaun Collinge inspired Slipper to a 5-4 result against Mitre, while Dave Bath (21) and a superb 160 finish from Steve Limbert stood out in Greyhound's 7-2 win at Leeman, whose Steve Parkinson was best with 20.
All square after the singles, Pack had Les Smith notching a maximum in their 6-3 win over Howden.
In division two, Moira Atkinson-Ken Chappell were Woolpack's match-winners against Fossway, while Dave Loftus (20) hit the tons to save the Ebor the aggregate as they lost at Crescent 'B'.

Kev O'Hara replied with 17 and Angie Hields chalked four tons for 24 before Joan Hunter-Rich Plummer partnership guided Huntington to a last-tie decider.
Cue Ball's John Smith closed in 19 and was well supported by Pete Leake (21) in a 7-2 win against Beeswing, who had Jim Hawksby checking a 102 finish.
Neil Fairclough-Bernie Smith were Crescent's match-winners in division two against Leeman 'B', while Cygnet 'B' had Col Rowntree-Daphne Green sealing the win against Slipper 'B'.
Richard Bingham-Annette Ward took Slipper 'A's points against Cygnet 'D'.
Trevor Day hit a 180 for 17 darts in York John Smith's Men's League division one.
Shaun Day (18) and Mark Gale (19) gave good support as Poacher overran Blacksmith's 8-1.
John Mooring (18), Mark Hartley (19) and Neil Caywood (19) led Cygnet 'A' to a 6-3 result at Slip 'B', who had a good win from Mark Gamble (20).
Chris Thompson (180) partnered Tony Cooper to finish 701 in 19 darts after Thompson (20), Mick Reagan (20) and Cooper (21) set Sun 'A' on the way to a 7-2 win over Rose & Crown.
Paul Calpin (18) could not stop Flag 'A' going down 7-2 at Saddle, while a 180 from Paul Keers helped seal the match 6-3 for Bay Horse after Dringhouses had Mick Coupland out in 21.
In division two Holgate, with Charlie Goldsmith finishing on 135 and Pete West using bull to end in 20 darts, crushed Old Ebor 8-1.
