LEEPER Hare York and District League division one side Haxby United knocked out premier division big guns Dringhouses 2-1 to complete the biggest shock in the York FA Saturday Senior Cup.
After early Dringhouses' pressure Haxby took a tenth-minute lead when Chris Dyson netted with a 15-yard shot. Rich Iggulden then struck to double the lead before half-time.
Mark Woodward reduced the arrears with a well-taken header, but Dringhouses could not find a way past Haxby goalkeeper Ian Freerer, who stood firm.
Malton Bacon Factory had to fight all the way to defeat T&L Selby 4-3 in extra time.
Bacon Factory's scorers were Simon Collins and an 88th-minute equaliser by Andy Thornton in normal time before Jamie Hopwood and Collins again hit the mark with extra-time goals.
Pocklington defeated Huntington 5-4 with a Neil Wilford hat-trick to complement goals from Mike Murr and Mark Ablett.
Huntington's goals came from Paul Downes (2), Len Banks and David Martin.
Wigginton Grasshoppers had been defeated twice by Dunnington in league fixtures, but turned the tables in the cup with a crushing 6-1 victory.
Don Graham scored Grasshoppers' opener from a John Alcock cross and Alcock was the provider again as Dave Bonner made it 2-0. Graham went on to complete his hat-trick with Tom Coates netting twice, while ex-York City junior Ricardo Gabbiadini netted Dunnington's consolation.
In the Saturday Junior Cup, Heslington Reserves played above their Reserve 'B' status to beat Strensall 6-4 with Jimmy Frary netting four goals.
Bob Taylor and John McGrady chipped in with a goal each to deny Strensall, whose Nick Pipe scored a hat-trick supplemented by a Nigel Lyle goal.
Heslington first team were a goal down after only three minutes against Elvington when Luke Dove headed in.
Stewart Dickinson equalised after 15 minutes from a tight angle, Peter Vince and Paul Clark went on secure a 3-1 win for Heslington and a place in the fourth round.
Oliver Newby scored the only goal of the game as Wilberfoss beat Wigginton Grasshoppers Reserves.
Thorpe United goalkeeper Liam Fearick was the hero of his side's 1-0 extra time win over York RI.
He saved Nick Hutchinson's penalty 20 minutes from time and in extra time Barry Martland scored the only goal to send Thorpe through.
Selby RSSC beat Stamford Bridge Reserves 1-0 with a 25-yard drive by Andy Jones. Max Walker was outstanding in midfield for Selby.
Darren Horsefield netted five times as Ouseburn Utd whacked Stillington 8-1. Ouseburn's other scorers were Alister Ramsay, Stuart Ramsay and Richard Dwight.
Matthew Biggins scrambled a goal after five minutes for Amotherby & Swinton in their tie against Heworth.
Wayne Calvert and Jimmy Baxter made it 3-0 and, although Heworth reduced the arrears, Amotherby & Swinton went through 4-1 with Biggin chipping in the final goal from 20 yards.
Haxby United Reserves followed their first team into the next round with a hard-fought victory against Nestl Rowntree Reserves.
At the end of extra-time the score stood at 3-3 with the Haxby goals being scored by Mike Taylor (2) and Steve Baker.
In the penalty shoot-out Haxby won 7-6, but they were indebted to Darryl Caghill for a great penalty save.
The sole remaining Beckett League team, Coxwold, travelled to Church Fenton to play White Horse.
But there was no happy away-day as Coxwold were beaten 8-1, with the White Horse plunder shared between Lenny Mason (2), Nigel Chester (2), Anthony Harvey (2), Scott Griffiths and Steven Long.
Graham Hutchinson (2), Danny Clements and Ben Tobin gave Tockwith a 4-0 win over a young Hamilton Panthers Reserves side.
St John's College Reserves arrived late for their game against Easingwold Town and went down to two second half goals - a Tim Jackson header and a Micky Raper shot.
