Middleham trainer Geoff Harker, who had winners last weekend at Ayr and Haydock, can add to his growing tally tomorrow at Market Rasen.
The former jump-jockey saddles Enzo de Baune in the Bet 365 Handicap Chase and the six-year-old is my Nap selection to triumph under the guidance of his regular pilot, amateur rider Ben Orde-Powlett.
Recruited from France last winter and a winner at Carlisle in April, Enzo De Baune seems happier on a right-handed course and so should relish winging around Market Rasen.
He will also enjoy the step up to two and threequarter miles, having found the straight two miles too sharp on his reappearance at Sedgefield last month.
Giocomo have supporters in the MB Design Memorial Novices' Chase. A former high-class hurdler with Jonjo O'Neill, Giocomo joined Richard Fahey this season and made a winning debut over fences at Hexham a couple of weeks ago.
That was a poor race, but Giocomo has more to offer over the major obstacles.
The Symes Bains Solicitors Handicap Chase offers Ibin St James the opportunity to start the season on a winning note.
Mark Bradstock's gelding should not be unduly troubled by not having had a recent race, as he won at Fakenham last season after a six-month break. A dour stayer, tomorrow's three and a half miles should suit him.
Norton trainer James Hetherton, whose jumpers are in good heart, has excellent prospects with Valeureux in the Boxing Day Is Next Handicap Hurdle.
Graham Lee's mount ran well at Wetherby last week to split Archie Babe and Vintage Premium in a novices' event. Though he has plenty of weight to carry tomorrow he should give a good account.
At Wincanton, Hughie Morrison can score with Kylkenny in the Tote betXpress Handicap Hurdle.
A prolific winner on the Flat, Kylkenny has had only three outings over hurdles over three seasons and has yet to win. But he has a good chance tomorrow when he runs in a handicap race for the first time, being fit from the Flat and from a stable in fine form. To-class jockey Timmy Murphy has been booked for the mount.
