AS we approach the season of "goodwill to all men", let us remember the animals as well.
Put out scraps for the birds. Get a bell for the cat's collar. Make sure an outdoor pet rabbit is warm and dry.
Take a dog for a walk if the owner no longer can. Don't squeeze goldfish into a bowl when what they need is a fish tank.
As for food, festive meals should be enjoyed. But meat should have the RSPCA seal of approval or the equivalent. We could try a vegetarian meal for a change. Many people do.
We take a lot from animals. We should take it as humanely as we can.
