WHAT is the problem with council leader Steve Galloway?
Once again he is the thorn in the side of the Acorn Rugby Club - by insisting the club remove the fence erected to protect the playing area where at least 400 kids from the age of seven to 18 are kept off the street every week at training sessions and rugby matches.
Most of these events are enjoyed by people of all ages, some are played as charity events.
The fence has been put up by the club and at no expense to the council, unlike the fences around Westfield and Carr Lane school, to prevent irresponsible people letting dogs foul the pitch, and broken glass, syringes and rubbish making it dangerous for the players.
This man seemingly is against any kind of sport where children are encouraged in team play in a clean and safe environment.
