HARROGATE Town will travel to Barrow tomorrow night to replay Saturday's exciting 2-2 FA Trophy second round draw.

The Unibond League premier division rivals served up an entertaining encounter at Wetherby Road with captain Simon Sturdy heading Town in front only for Barrow to strike twice in five second-half minutes before James Turley's penalty levelled the scores and set up a fourth match between the two sides this season.

Town's woodwork was also rattled three times and Barrow's once in a game that saw seven yellow cards brandished by a fussy and error-prone referee.

The tone of the match was set after just 43 seconds when Barrow striker Wayne Curtis headed against the bar from just six yards.

Gavin Knight, who was a threatening presence on the right wing, then sidefooted wastefully wide after robbing Mark Atkins inside the hosts' penalty box.

Barrow dominated the opening stages but Turley then went close for Town from 20 yards on ten minutes.

John Reed's men continued to improve and Marc Smith sent a 20-yard effort whistling wide moments later.

Smith then headed an excellent opportunity over from six yards and Atkins forced Bishop into a low save from 30 yards.

Liam Sutcliffe's blushes were spared on 38 minutes when his poor kick found the impressive Graham Anthony and he released the dangerous Knight. But a back-pedalling Sutcliffe was relieved to see Knight's shot strike his crossbar.

Six minutes later, Harrogate took the lead when Bishop could not claim Atkins' corner and Sturdy headed over the line.

Knight netted early in the second half for the visitors but his effort was ruled out by an offside flag and Sutcliffe was fortunate not to concede a penalty moments later when everybody in Wetherby Road, bar the officials, felt he had dragged down former Scarborough and Doncaster striker Neil Campbell in the box.

Harrogate went close to doubling their lead on 62 minutes when thrusting right-back James Riordan, recently watched by Premiership club Leicester, fed an overlapping Turley, whose cross was headed wide by Atkins from ten yards.

But Barrow equalised five minutes later when Campbell's low drive hit a post and the ball rebounded off an unfortunate Neil Aspin, who could not avoid scoring an own goal for the second successive Saturday.

Barrow went in front on 72 minutes when former Darlington and Doncaster midfielder Steve Gaughan's header released Curtis, who raced clear before producing a neat low finish.

But Town were not behind for long as substitute Robbie Whellans' 74th-minute shot was handled and Turley sent Bishop the wrong way from the spot.

Mark Ford hit the post for Harrogate shortly afterwards and both sides had two chances apiece to win in the final three minutes.

First, Hunter shot across the face of goal and then Knight headed inches wide for Barrow.

Sutcliffe also saved bravely to deny Curtis on 90 minutes and, in injury time, Ford released Turley with an excellent pass but Town's right-winger blazed over.
