I AM writing about my beloved football club, Leeds United.
My club is in a sorry state with the financial and on-the-field situation because of former chairman Peter Ridsdale. He should help the club, after all he got us in this terrible mess.
I don't like the idea of this famous club going into administration. It would be a good idea if all Leeds United supporters, who have been magnificent throughout this torrid time, could help by going round turnstiles with buckets or doing fund-raising efforts and raffles to ease a bit of pressure just to get a bit of money.
It worked for good old York City and I wish them all the luck given their their ground situation. So why can't it work for Leeds United?
So come on Leeds fans if you love Leeds, let's do something to help our beloved club.
Sid Smith,
Alcuin Avenue,
York.
