IF York schoolgirl Jodie Coupland ever decides to take up a career in medicine, the NHS would have no safer pair of hands.
At only nine years old she already possesses the cool head and innate skill of our best doctors.
When her mum went into labour, Jodie did not panic. Instead this remarkable young lady calmly followed the 999 operator's instructions to deliver her baby brother.
The paramedic crew which then arrived went on to deliver another baby in their ambulance on the way to hospital. It seems our newest residents can't wait to see York for themselves.
