MARK Hanson was the hero of Selby Warriors ARL Club's 60-18 Pennine League division five victory over West Bowling.
Warriors are now fourth and if they win their games in hand could go equal top.
Hanson scored a try and ten goals for a 24 point haul.
All that came after West Bowling had taken the lead with a penalty, but Selby soon got into their stride with Sean Barker scoring after a 20-yard run.
Andy Rowe and Hanson added further tries before Ian Ramskill powered over from a planned move.
Although the visitors pulled a try back, Wayne Fennell danced his way through for Selby's fifth try.
Captain Carl Bardauskas went over twice with another from Barker in between before the classy Fennell crossed twice more to complete his hat-trick.
Fennell is in such good form at present that Warriors have not missed last season's star player, Shaun Austerfield, who is now playing with Selby RUFC.
