CUEBALL'S Michelle Britton and John Smith captured the York John Smith's Mixed League Mixed Pairs title after defeating Leeman's Julie Judson and Martyn Turner 2-0.
They lost the first leg semi-final against Cygnet 'A's Dawn Exton and Kev Walton, which saw a 115 finish from Walton, but Smith (140) - Britton scored well to level before Britton gamed on 94 (two darts) to secure their place in the final.
Judson and Turner defeated Cygnet's Mark Hartley and Liz Powell 2-1 to reach the final, where Britton hit a maximum and Smith hit the tons to clinch the Mixed Pairs Knockout Championship.
Turner was also in action in the Men's Individual final where he lost to Walton. Turner took the first leg with a 13-darter, but Walton hit back to game in 24. With both players hitting the tons, Walton closed in 20 darts to take the title.
The Ladies Individual Championship went to Huntington's Angie Hields who recorded 227, a 63 finish for 27 darters, to defeat CueBall's Karen Richardson,.
Dawn Exton closed on 116 (treble 20, 20, double l18) and Cygnet 'A' colleague Angela Powell 86 finish overshadowed Carole Layne's 19 for Cygnet 'C' in York John Smith's Ladies League division one.
Exton (2x100) partnered Maggie Druett to snatch the decider. Angie Hields hit two tons for 20 as Cueball 'B' raced into an unassailable 5-0 advantage against Clifton 'A'.
Sue Turpin with 140, 100 for 23 helped Cueball 'C' lower Flag 7-2 and Phoenix came away from Dringhouses with the same result. Maggie Totti 2x101 was inspirational in Independent's 6-3 win at Holgate.
Division two leaders Leeman 'B' were seen home by Toni Smallwood winning the deciding pairs at Clifton 'B'.
Angie Lancaster-Sylvia Keenan pairing secured Jubilee a 5-4 victory at Britannia whose Claire Greaves hit the tons.
Cindy Benton was in sparkling form as Cygnet 'B' secured a 6-3 victory at Tang Hall WMC. Sun Inn eclipsed Slipper 7-2.
Division three leaders Blacksmiths ,well steered by Dot Trousdale and Beverley Lawson, won 6-3 at Old Ebor.
Anne Keswick and Vanessa Wood were match-winners for Vaults against Mitre as the match went down to the wire . Leeman 'A' were also assured victory by their tailenders Tracey Yeomans-Peggy Rose after Jackie Simpson-Mavis Gallimore had levelled for Severus.
Reindeer were saved from a division four whitewash by Kerrie Havens-Angie Cannon after Woolpack had eight in the bag. Leeman 'C' lead the pack after a 6-3 win at Turf.
