ENGLAND'S victorious rugby players return to the UK tomorrow with the World Cup at the start of what promises to be a month of celebrations.
Britain's first world cup win since 1966 has caused a tremendous outbreak of pride. It is remarkable how a spinning oval ball passing between two posts can lift the nation's spirits so dramatically.
Children and young sports people who watched will be able to grow up with the idea that England can win. Hopefully, there will be a boost in rugby's fortunes, with more people wanting to play the sport at grassroots.
