Pickering Town made their exit out of this season's FA Vase competition after a 2-0 defeat at Shildon.
Goal machine Gary Williamson-Barnes was on target twice to take his tally to an incredible 35 this season but Scott Emmerson, James Drinkall and Gavin Dickinson had all missed earlier chances for the Pikes, who lost centre-back Peter Vasey with a hamstring injury.
Selby Town's FA Vase dreams came to an end with a 2-0 defeat at home to Durham.
The Robins struggled to make their chances count at Flaxley Road on Saturday, being over-run by the visitors superior strike force.
"We played a hell of a lot better than the week before but we never took our chances," said Town manager Bob Lyon.
"Over all they were the better side, but we are not finished yet.
"It's the County Cup in a couple of weeks, and we are keeping our cup dreams alive in that one."
Selby had the better of the first half with a hatful of chances to take the lead but could not take advantage.
But the visitors took the lead shortly before half time, with the Robins denied a penalty decision midway through the second.
The visitors wrapped it up with a second with ten minutes to go.
"We could have won it in the first half, and did look better, so we are fighting on," said Lyon.
