HARROGATE Town are out of this season's UniBond League Challenge Cup after their 2-1 second round defeat at Guiseley last night.
Trialist Josh Bowker got Town's consolation goal, but the former Accrington Stanley youngster is unlikely to be kept on by manager John Reed.
Another trialist, Phillip Beale, who has previously played for Bury reserves and juniors, could be given another chance to impress at Town after impressing Reed at Guiseley.
Marc Smith, Robbie Whellans, Colin Hunter and Simon Sturdy all had chances in a wasteful performance by the visitors.
